Greetings Starbright Acres Firewise Community!

That’s right. Our application was accepted and approved by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). We are now Firewise! This is great news. 

Please note that we had assistance from a board member of the Nevada County FireSafe Council, but our approval was from NFPA and CalFire. We are not affected by the legal proceedings involving members of the staff at the FireSafe Council. 

We have an ambitious action plan that we can begin working on now. 

We hope you will come to our next community gathering on Sunday, July 26 at 4pm to hear more about how we all can take action to make our properties more fire safe.
