What is involved becoming a Firewise Community?
Greetings Neighbors,
Many of us remember clearly the nights of October 8th and 9th, 2017, when the McCourtney and the Lobo Fires burned in our community. While we have incredible resources locally, the intensity of our fires is increasing. What can we do to protect our loved ones, our homes and our neighbors?

30 more are in the assessment process.
Starbright Acres is in the starting phase and gaining traction!
- We have organized a committee consisting of Frieda, Tart, Cy and Kriss.
- We have determined our geographic boundaries.

- We had our first community-wide gathering on Sunday, June 22, 2025 in which nearly 50 neighbors attended!
