On Sunday, July 26 we’re hosting a community meeting and we’d love for you to join us. We’ll gather at Cyrus and Andi’s home at 12246 Polaris Drive from 4-6pm. We’ll share about the projects for our neighborhood 3-Year Action Plan and how everyone can contribute by keeping track (it’s easy) of work you are already doing on your property. Thanks to Steve Eubanks at Nevada County FireSafe Council we have a “Go-Bag” to raffle at the gathering. 

Some of you may benefit from letting your homeowner’s insurance company that you are part of a Firewise Community. Many companies do give a discount (amounts vary) to you with this designation. If your insurance company requests proof of the designation, please send them this certificate.

If your neighbors aren’t yet involved in our Firewise efforts, please suggest they sign up! Our signs contain a link as well as a QR code to our website with the sign up form. If they’re less tech savvy, they can always reach out to us and we can get them signed up.
